I have had a lot of trouble with this card, and it has gone to the point of driving me up the wall. What i'm trying to do is hook up a SATA drive as storage (connecting it to the sata port on the card), and just have my IDE be the main drive. It is an older computer, but everything I have read said it would be compatible with most older motherboard models. I have a feeling that I may need to reflash the BIOS or something (even though it has the latest version as listed on the website). I don't have a floppy drive on this computer so I'm unable to use that method. If anyone has had trouble with this card or can shed some light on this, that would be awesome. Thanks.

You're going to have to be a little more descriptive about your problem.

What are your systems specs?
What specific problems are you having?
