Hi,
I'm trying to burn DVD's using k3b in Debian. My drive is a NEC IDE/ATAPI Model ND-3540A.
Here is the problem:
When I run k3b (as root - otherwise it complains more), it complains that I can only burn DVD's at 1x (this should not be the case). When I select '1x' to humour it. Then, when it's about half way done burning, it claims that it ran out of space... which id DIDN'T!!! It burned half of the DVD (I can see this by looking at the DVD surface). Has anyone encountered this problem before? there are some backups I'd really like to get going...
