I have both that board and powersupply. My problem is that whenever I press the button on the back of the Modstream to turn it on, my whole pc powers up without me even pressing the power button on the motherboard. In other words, the cpu and vid card fan power up and the lights on the mobo turn on.This always results with the motherboard being damaged and smoke coming from it. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is.

Here are the rest of my specs:
OCZ Modstream 520W
DFI Lanparty Ultra-D
(2x512) Crucial Ballistix PC3200
BFG 6800GT PCIe
74GB Raptor

sometimes, the power switch acts like a real switch. when its on, its on, and when its off its off. so if you turn off your computer with windows shutdown, the button is in the on position. and then if you turn your psu off, and turn it on, the computer will go on. thats what happens to me.

you just have to remember what position the switch is in. if you didnt use the button to turn off the comp, press it before you turn the psu switch back on. but there seriously shouldnt be smoke coming out. thats really bad. the psu shouldnt surge like that when you turn it on.
