Having problems loading OS into new system.

Hey guys, hoping someone has had this problme and can help me out.

I am trying to load XP into a new system. It is a K7S5A with a 1700+, GF3 200 Ti, 256 DDR memory. When I try to load the OS, I get "file not coppied correctly" errors, and then it may blue screen on me later.

I tried Win 2k and the system hung right on "saving settings" and did not re-start. any ideas?

Thanks

Can't you read my mind? 🙂

I accidently hit enter before I typed anything into the body. My bad 🙂

Why not start out by going to simmtester.com and grabbing their free memory tester.

Then I'd grab a diagnostic from the website of your HD manufacturer.

Sure beats dicking the dog, only to find out later your memory or HD has issues.

Ok, I think I have it likced. I ( and a few other people ) think it is a memory problem, so I will order some more up 🙂

Thanks guys!
