ok here is the deal. i put together a sys. barebones as can be.. i am using onboard video and sound.. no pci cards at all. it has a 2400 sempron . the monitor is a nec 19in.
this is what happens.. i try to get it to post.. no go.. hit reset.. maybe.. hit again.. woot post. then i get an error.. your system has not shut down correctly.. then it goes to boot.. this is a very annoying way to start a computer.
my thoughts are.. to clear cmos.. i try.. and it does not save once i set defaults.. back to has not shut down.. i am at wits end. please help guys.
