Working on my dad's newly built computer. IC7, 2.8c, Win XP pro. We have a ATI AIW 9600 with monitors each hooked up to the VGA1 and VGA2 outputs. We also have an ATI 7000 for a 3rd DVI monitor. How do I go about making all this work right? The first time I installed everything on a fresh copy of XP, I had both cards installed and I installed the Cat drivers, and everything worked great except for the TV wouldn't install. I looked on the ATI website and read about how it won't install the TV component if the tuner is on a secondary display card. It suggested to remove the non-TV tuner card (the 7000 in this case) and then install all the drivers. So I did, and everything worked fine without the 7000. At that point, I reinstalled the 7000 and installed the TV wouldn't work. Why? Probably because the tuner is now on the secondary display adapter. Is there any way to change which card is the primary one? I've looked in the BIOS and there's no setting to change which one is the primary display adapter.
So now I sit here with both cards installed and working fine, except the TV tuner component doesn't work at all. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
