Having problem with Network.

I am having problems with this system and networking. When I right click on one of my hdd's there is no sharing tab. I have File and Printer sharing for Microsoft Networks enabled in the Network Properties. But when I run the Home Networking Wizard, i can enable to share printer and My Docs folder, then in Network Neighborhood I can see them there. What gives?? I have tried everything, just wondering if someone else had this prob and fixed it.

What OS? You're right clicking your HDD's to get sharing right?

yes, that's how i am trying to get to the sharing. I am running ME.

I havent used ME b4. 🙁 Just try to do it again, enable file and print sharing and then right click your hdd. It has to work if you do it that way.

I have tried and tried that, and it will not work. I have removed everything in the Network Properties and reinstalled everything time and time again. Nothing, no luck. WTF??

My daughter had similar problem sometime back, and it was caused by a proxy server she'd installed (and then removed) having created a registry entry that disabled file sharing. I don't recall the name of the key.
