OK let me explain whats going on here.
I sold a mobo to a new user here on A/T Forums "osme2".
We tested the mobo for the buyer and it was fully 100% confirmed working.
we tested using E8600 and Qx9650, Crucial ballistix 1066 2.0v,G.skill 800 1.8v and Patriot 1.8v. 4x2GB and 4x1GB
We did 2 full installs using Windows Vista Ultimate 32 & 64bit and ran several benches with no errors.
Well long story short he recieves the package and within 5 mins of signing for it
he PM's me claiming that there were problems booting this mobo with his ram and starts giving me all these threats with how he wants a full refund now or he is going to give me bad feedback on heatware and tell everyone on the forums.
Well First off how could he unbox, setup and fully test out a mobo all within 5 min of signing for a package?
I mean I can put toether a system fast but this seems very odd to me.
I can and will proove this as I have the tracking info still and all his pm's and it shows when he signed and when he pm'ed me.
I feel like I am getting scammed some how here like he is trying to trade off a broken mobo he has for the fully working one which we sent to him.
I told him we fully tested it like he requested and it worked 100% without issue's.
I also told him if he is having issue's then he should rma it but looks like he is trying to get around doing this which makes me feel even more suspicious.
I just will not accept a refund or return due to the fact he could easily switch out a broken item for a working item and I would be out the costs of not only the payment but all the shipping charges as well.
I have more feedback, more post's and have also been a user longer then he.
That alone should show I am not out to rip anyone off but at the same time I dont want to get ripped off.
What do you guys think I should do??

This has gone far enough. I suggest you both comprise all relevant info and PM the main AT mod account so this issue can be discussed.

I dont have any experience in atot trading but if you know the board was good then f#ck him. If any one asks about bad review tell them the situation. Im sure this buyer will try this again so his bad review will be meaningless because he'll be a known bitch.

PM the mod account, but I will say that you should at least tell him to return the mobo to you so you can check it over. You should also document the serial number before you ship the item out with pictures to document it's condition. This is to protect yourself from the "swap out scenario" you are concerned about.

I'm also assuming you mean this user: http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=46878

please dont lie. The item arrived at my house at 06/19/2009 10:44 A.M. At 7:19PM I emailed you because i opened the box and noticed you didnt include the i/o shield which you promised. On 6/20 (the next day) at 5:04 PM i sent you an email stating i was having issue with the board booting i dual channel.

Where are you getting 5 mins from, can we see your proof?

I am honest and am not trying to screw you over. You make it sound like the first email i sent you was a demand for a refund. If i was why is there a thread with this issue on this forum and tweaktown? Why would i even try get to the bottom of this issue? If i had another ud3p board that was broken why wouldnt I just RMA it?

Why dont i just RMA your board? 1. You said it works, so i was expecting one that did. 2. Who wants to spend money on a new board and then have to pay for shipping to RMA and be without a board for 2 weeks?

I actually dont think you were trying to rip me off, i dont know why the motherboard its working but i only agreed to buy it if it was working and its not, so that falls on you.

FYI, ive been a member longer than you.

I am more than happy to have the Mods look at our conversations and see what they think.

Yes mods please look at our accounts and we will see who is lieing!!
I think you are trying to shift the blame here now that I called you out..
I admited to you that the I/O shield that was left behind was my fault nd I will send it too you but the board works and if it doesnt it was something you have to had done to it for it not to work.
Like I told you in our PM's If its broken RMA the mobo and be done with all this BS.

yes i said you are lying about the 5 mins comment in your first post. You said you could prove it.

I have already posted the actual times of delivery and emails.

Please show your proof if you not lying.

You guys ought to not argue in the thread. Take it to PMs or the Mods.
