OK let me explain whats going on here.
I sold a mobo to a new user here on A/T Forums "osme2".
We tested the mobo for the buyer and it was fully 100% confirmed working.
we tested using E8600 and Qx9650, Crucial ballistix 1066 2.0v,G.skill 800 1.8v and Patriot 1.8v. 4x2GB and 4x1GB
We did 2 full installs using Windows Vista Ultimate 32 & 64bit and ran several benches with no errors.
Well long story short he recieves the package and within 5 mins of signing for it
he PM's me claiming that there were problems booting this mobo with his ram and starts giving me all these threats with how he wants a full refund now or he is going to give me bad feedback on heatware and tell everyone on the forums.
Well First off how could he unbox, setup and fully test out a mobo all within 5 min of signing for a package?
I mean I can put toether a system fast but this seems very odd to me.
I can and will proove this as I have the tracking info still and all his pm's and it shows when he signed and when he pm'ed me.
I feel like I am getting scammed some how here like he is trying to trade off a broken mobo he has for the fully working one which we sent to him.
I told him we fully tested it like he requested and it worked 100% without issue's.
I also told him if he is having issue's then he should rma it but looks like he is trying to get around doing this which makes me feel even more suspicious.
I just will not accept a refund or return due to the fact he could easily switch out a broken item for a working item and I would be out the costs of not only the payment but all the shipping charges as well.
I have more feedback, more post's and have also been a user longer then he.
That alone should show I am not out to rip anyone off but at the same time I dont want to get ripped off.
What do you guys think I should do??
This has gone far enough. I suggest you both comprise all relevant info and PM the main AT mod account so this issue can be discussed.
