Having Problem networking a 9x and an XP

Any ideas? The XP computers (2) are able to see the 9x machine, I have searched all over the web for this. No problems with the other XP computers. They can see and retrieve off the 9x computer, but it can't see them or access them. The computers are connected on a cable connection through a Router.

I have tried all the standard troubleshooting.

you have to disable Windows XP's Internet Connection Firewall on the LAN before file sharing will fully work with non-XP computers.

you may also want to make sure that the filenames or computer names that you are trying to see from the 9x machine are no longer than 12 characters in total length......9x machines can't view shares or computers on a nt machine if the filename is over 12 characters long...also make sure they are joining the same workgroup name
