Having no internet.... sucks.

My cable line got chopped yesterday and I was without cable and internet yesterday and today (i'm at work now)... and it sucked all night (it finally sunk in after hitting "reconnect" on my router for the 1000th time that it wasn't going to reconnecting with a cable in the ground). It's amazing how connected we are to our internet lines these days. I could go without TV, but internet is a no no.

Anyway, just my daily rant.

It only sucks that much when you really need to talk to someone and the only way you can is through the net. Most of the time it's possible to call them if it's during the day though, or just do something else, so it's not so bad.

I was on the net from 95-99 then I got incredibly bored with it. So I have no problem living without the internet since its been almost 4 years now.

When the internet goes down, its trouble for me. It went down for 3 days the other time, and when I got back on, I had a mailbox and angry emails and pms wondering where their stuff was. Lets hope that doesnt happen again.

seriously, most of us sport big speedy rigs, and without internet we feel useless. hehe. its like a ferrari in traffic.

That's why some of us buy Xbox's and DVD's. 😀

Funny how things change, eh? TV used to be perhaps the biggest attraction to the majority of people. Now things are changing. I think in a few years we'll all turn into a bunch of computer freaks, life will stale, there will be no people outdoors. Everybody sitting behind closed doors, leaning over to the dirty keyboard in crumbs and coffee, and typing 'www'...

Yes the internet had provided us with many options and news source of information(alternatives in life). I'm using Yahoo map on a weekly base to get around town 😉
