Hi, I've recently had some issues with major windows files (Kernel32.dll and some radoms due to a hack that I downloaded like an idiot)
So I decided to reinstall. I deleted the other partion and started out fresh. The computer runs fine (As you can see in my specs) but I have one problem.
I go to install my sound driver CD ( creative X-fi or some ****) and then I install my mobo driver (The ethernet works on my mobo w/ out the drivers installed)
So the point of my post is that
Once I install the sound driver from the creative cd and all of the other drivers from the MSI cd, my computer lags horribly, and I don't mean lag like freeze a little here and there, I mean like it will completely lag out for about 5 minutes.
To prevent this from happening again (I had to reinstall windows to even get to a webpage without lagging) Should I not install my mobo drivers and my sound drivers?
I'm not really sure how I'm even online when the drivers for my ethernet port hasn't even been installed.
Help me please before I go insane and reinstall windows again.
Btw my processor is overclocked if that matters
