I recently got Gigabit and have been facing issues with my modem. I have a Arris SB8200 for internet and Arris TM3402a for voice.

Background: I previously had a Cox DOCSIS 2.0 Modem (I had a 200 Mbps plan). The technician who installed the modem also included a 6 dB attenuator on the coax cable.

Current: I have used both a 2-way splitter (-3.5 dB) and a 4-way splitter (-7 dB), and I'm still facing uncorrectables and errors. Hardwired Internet speeds are good and I'm working on addressing the wifi issues from my AX88U router.

Are you getting any packet loss or performance issues?

Edit, you want to be close to 0db, and those correctable / uncorrectable could have nothing to do with your data stream but more so either noise in the system, or symbol errors ect. Your MER SNR looks good.

No on packet loss; but there are times where the internet just hangs for a couple of seconds. On my last router, I was getting noticeable lag while playing online. I'm also getting 500/35 on a 1Gb/35 subscription hardwired.
