Having dual DVD burner?

I saw some computer company that offer having two DVD-RW burners on a laptop. I don't understand what is the logic behind, having two DVD-RW on a laptop. Anybody have any idea? My guess would be that you can burn the DVD directly to the second drive, without having to download the image into your computer and burn it back on to a DVD.

Seems kinda stupid to me..

For the cost of the DVD-RW just add a larger HDD so you have room to copy the image.

i got dual dvd burner on my notebook + dual hdd.. interchangable bay with external storage bay on docking station.. helps me rip multiple dvd faster
