so my dentist recommends me to get braces. I'm 25 year old, and my mouth is very crowded. I always kind of knew that I need braces just because my teeth were not straight. My dentist recommends me that a cost effective way to get this performed is to go to my local dental university or college and see if I qualify to be their patient. Basically, these are dental graduates who want to specialize in ortho, and want people people in certain cases to practice on(I guess). supposedly, they will be supervised by real orthodontists. I'm going in for a consultation, pretty soon, but I want to see if any one has or heard experiences.

I had a crown and some fillings done at one. Painfully slow process. If time is valuable to you, go to your regular dentist. They take their time doing the procedure, then you wait for their teacher to come in and inspect the work. Prices are reall good, half price of my regular dentist.
