Having an issue with my new board...

The board is the

Asus Rampage Formula w/ DualDDR2 1066, 7.1 Audio, Dual GB Lan, 1394, Dual PCI-E x16 CrossFire

The issue is that I am getting an error when I try to install the sound drivers... I have 2 other sound "drivers" installed via my 3870 HD graphics cards (not sure if that matters) but anyways the error I get is:

"The audio driver files do not support your computer hardware.

Note: If you uninstalled audio software without restarting your PC, restart now, then run this setup again."

The ironic bit is this software CAME with my hardware...

I read somewhere that you need this file in order to install asus sound drivers: kb888111.exe

I searched my system for it but it wasn't located. Where do I get it?

Also I read that uninstalling windows service packs might help, is that true?

I also didn't uninstall my old sound drivers from my old ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe but I am unsure which drivers were for that board and don't want to start uninstalling things

My Device Manager shows:
ATI Function Driver for High Definition Audio - ATI AA01
ATI Function Driver for High Definition Audio - ATI AA01
Audio Codecs
Legacy Audio Drivers
Legacy Video Capture Devices
Media Control Devices
Video Codecs

The "kb" designation is used for Microsoft Knowledge Base articles. I think this is the one you're interested in. There's a link to a download at the top of that article.

Got it working now, no worries... Was a specific port required on the board for sound cards... Kind of silly that it wasnt in any of the set up info... I went and looked at the specs and it said:

2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 , support at full x16, x16 speed
3 x PCIe x1 (the PCIEx1_1 (black) is compatible with audio slot)
2 x PCI 2.2
