Holy crap.

Engineering software GALORE! Not pictured here, I get Office 2003, XP, Frontpage, and .NET as well!

Free.
FREE!

A highschool student's dream come true!

Right now I'm getting FEMLAB ( http://www.comsol.com/ makes it) for my heatsink design project.

I'm literally about to cry right now. I love CAD, and I hear they're offering a CAD elective next term...

It's time to clear out that harddrive, I'm running out of space...

Yeah, pretty standard with most colleges, I presume.

I'm not in college though :D

Sneeky. Then again, all that can be found on any BT network.

QFT.

If it's illegal, there's a LOT more software you can get illegally.

Or so I've heard. >.>

Yeah, it's all fun and games until the FBI raids your dorm room and confiscates all of your computers for evidence. Don't laugh... they've done it before, and they'll probably do it again!

Just keep that in mind before opening YOUR network shares to others.

Something to consider. I guess it's about time you implemented a security system. You know, the feds are watching you like right now.

I assume this is software offered by the university for its students? That's pretty sweet, at my school you have to pay $79 for a student license for Office XP.

Sometimes they negotiate licensing agreements with the company that makes the software. I know MS is famous for this, a lot of schools have special agreements so you can get their software for free/reduced cost.

Yes, I realize this. Go one step further, where does the institution get the capital to license that software? Tutition.

i worked IT at my university for a little while and i know they put watches on drives/folders with software like that...so if you accessed it they kept tabs as to how many/who was accessing it and at what times and what all did they get at one time...

so happy downloading :D
