Having a Temp Problem

Thanks all in advance!!

Right now i just made myself a Gaming Machine and i'm getting weird temp readings. My system is as follows:

Opteron 148 250 x 11 @ Default Vcore
XP120 w Panaflo 120MM Fan
GSkill 2Gig of Ram 3-4-4-8 1:1 with FSB
DFI LanParty NF4 SLi-D
2 x 7900GTO in SLI Mode Cards


i'm getting 36-38c no load, but when i load up any game it jumps to 51-55c - Should i reseat the CPU/HSF and reapply the ceraminque or get a new kind of paste?

I have no idea why this is happening.

Temps are OK - could be better. I would leave it alone.

thanks for the response Lou! I'm not use to having my CPU Core that high 🙁

I had this CPU in my old home work machine, and i had it running in my AsRock Dual Sata at 30-45c 45 being max load. Wonder if DFI has temps wrong or something.
