I've got a scab near my elbow. The injury was no big deal, barely any blood. Since then however I keep breaking the scab open with movement so there has been way more blood and ooze since the original injury. I've been putting neosporin on it to help but the time of year really isn't helping either

Maybe get some Tegaderm and keep it covered.

One of my hobbies is sliding through dirt and gravel on my ass after ejecting from my bicycle at fairly high speeds. I've gotten pretty good at dressing wounds so they heal fast and use the hell out of those bandages.

Good to know thanks. Do you put any sort of ointment on before putting Tegraderm on?

I think I know what's going on here. You've been making these threads over the last year, secretly hoping some ATer is putting together an Exterous scroll, haven't you?

At first I do. Not sure what it is called but it is a cream. Keeps things soft and helps stop any gauze from sticking. It's not Neosporin, doctor told me it has too much going on and is unnecessary.

Ok thanks

Silver sulfadiazine

it works great on road rash.

Silver? But I'm an ATOT baller - should I put gold or platinum on it then? (Thanks)

Pshhh, if you aren't bringing your pharmacist very high quality 5+ karat diamonds for him to grind into a very fine powder to add to your ointment then you aren't an ATOT baller.
