Having a problem with the new comp....

So I just bought a bunch of parts and put them all together... and the computer turns on fine, lets me format the hard drive, copy the windows files, restarts, and then starts to do the final windows install/initialization... but then it will blue screen on me for a variety of reasons. The farthest Ive ever made it was to the "saving settings" part of the windows installation. On the last try it gave some sort of vague advice to

"check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.
Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select safe mode."

Then it gives some stop message with a bunch of numbers that dont seem to have relevance to humanity.

Then it says beginning physical memory dump and it dumps it and tells me to contact my system administrator.

At first I thought maybe it could be that the processor was overheating, that the people who installed the heat sink/processor didnt do it right... the processor (an X2 3800+) seems to idle at around 45C. Ive never seen it any higher but I can only look if I go into the bios at boot up... at least that is the only way I know of to look. I have an MSI RS480-M2 micro atx Skt939 mobo with onboard video and audio and a pci express slot. I ordered this config off of monarch computer so that they could test and assemble it for me since I didnt want to have to return anything, but it just doenst seem to work. I dont think its the hard drive because I have two of them and neither will work. I dont have much of a power draw, so im sure the power supply isnt it. The only things that could be causing a problem are the CD drive (a lite-on DVDRW/CDRW) which doesnt seem likely, the processor, the mobo, or the RAM. I have 1 gig of OCZ copper ram. Does anyone know of anything I could try or do to identify the problem? I am a poor college student and I dont really have other parts that I can just swap out to test. Right now Im thinking maybe I should get a video card and try using that instead of the on-board video. Theoretically monarch computer should have set the bios and ram and heat sink combo to their optimal fully functional configuration but I dont know how to go through and make sure they did it all correctly. When I got the package a bunch of the heat sink fins were bent for some reason, like they hadnt packed it well, but I straightened them and I doubt that there was any lasting damage, but it is something to keep in mind. Another thing is that when I put all this together I didnt do much with the whole master/slave set up since I dont know how that quite works. I have one 36 gig raptor and a 250 gig IDE drive. It doesnt seem like hard drive set up would make that much of a difference because it comes close to finishing the install just fine.

Anyone who can help me fix this will be my eternal hero. Thanks!

You need to boot floppy disk ... hope you have a floppy drive. With a boot disk, you load up to DOS. You can easily create a boot disk on a friend's computer if he has a floppy drive too.
