Having a Problem with setting up a hard drive for Network Sharing

I am setting up my computers on a network using Windows Network and Sharing application.

The problem I am having is that on one of my hard drives the process, which typically takes 4 or 5 minutes, does not stop own its own. And I am not able to access the hard drive on the network. Windows says I do not have permission to access the hard drive.

Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do this fix this?
