Having a problem with a HP Pavillion dv5000 laptop

I just had to reinstall windows on this laptop recently. For some reason i cant use the wireless connection on it because windows cant detect it. I tried installing different drivers from here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfr...&dlc=en&product=499849 , and it seem to still work. Does anyone know i can overcome this problem? i have netgear mr14a router. The wireless connection used to work well before i reinstalled windows.

BTW its only recognizing the Realtek ethernet connection port right now.

Did you turn the wireless on...?

Is the wireless card light ON...?

Is it enabled in BIOS...?

You might have to physically switch it on (I have Compaq Presario 5000 series - I believe it is similar to yours...)
