OK, I'm having a LAN party right now in my basement... and we haven't been having much luck with the air conditioning. Most of the day I've had the air set to max (or someone did... I didn't know this until now), and we also had a few windows open w/ box fans running.

I noticed that the temperature started rising... right now it's 85 in the main room. I walked over in the storage room, where the furnace is, and it's as cold as ice. I walked around the furnace, and I hear water running and the floor is wet. I noticed that there is water running like a faucet out of the blower unit (I think that's it). What should I do about it?

I did a manual power-down on the A/C pump, and shut the blowers down for about 10 minutes. I powered the blowers back on, and they are now functioning somewhat...

Anyone have any advise (or anything) to share?

THANKS!

Andrew

It sounds like they may have frozen? or maybe all the humidity is making water condense, then drip off.

*Situation Resolved*

I powered everything down, and let the blowers drain. I'm sure that they were frozen. I let them warm up by running without the a/c pump on... then i powered everything up. All is now well...

Thanks!
