Was gonna watch SNL tonight instead of waiting a few days for it to be on Youtube (legally). Tuned to NBC early, and was treated to 12 straight minutes of political ads mixed with a tiny bit of news. Many of the ads were contradictory. There was a pro-Barbara Comstock/Anti Luane Bennet followed immediately by an Anti-Comstock/Pro-Bennet TV spot. And based on what was claimed in each commercial, at least one of them had to be outright lies. I suspect both were full of lies, but it's too close to election day for either group to sue each other. A lawsuit won't matter to voters on Tues. Also an anti-trump ad followed immediately by anti-hilary.

Oh, and all of the ads seem to be targeted at either slow 12 year olds, or really slow 18 year olds. I guess nobody in politics thinks much of the American brain.

Also, news says Virginia had over 100,000 early votes already. It was strongly headed toward Democrat, assuming the exit polls are accurate. (But actually it's been shown already that many Virginians lie during the exit poll, so I will wait until Tues night before making any assumptions.)

Heres hoping SNL is really damn good. I'll need the relief.

The monologue was amusing, not funny. (Shaft parody).
Ditto the toilet sketch.

Game Show and Gay Professor were the same. Amusing. Not funny.

The best thing so far was a promise of Dave Chappelle and a Tribe Called Quest for next weeks SNL. That should be damn good.

Cubs sketch was meh. Even with real Cubs. Hoping theres at least one more political bit for the evening.

Shorty, the best thing one can do for their mental health is to turn off the TV, unplug it, and throw it away.

We watch too much TV in this country. We have a TV epidemic. Go read a book, write a book, hit the gym or make love to your wife. At any given time where you feel like watching TV, certainly one of those options is available to you!
