Heheheheh...need to shed 5-10# man, otherwise need to get a new clothing. Plus I can't wear that tight T-shirt no more with my belly sticking out. YOu know what I am goin to sue Budweiser..... you know beer belly 😀

On a serious note,
I saw this FAT SOLUTIONS PM in SAMs yesterday and it claims it can help you burn some fat when you sleep. I can't find any opinion on it other than from the marketing/seller website. comments? let me know what you tried and whether it works or not.

Thanx.

I knew this coming,

I jog and basketball regulary but I still can't remove the fat belly. Now, eating habit is the hardest to change but I reduce my portion lately to no avail, or not yet. I am hoping I can use this solution in addition to exercise and healty diet reduce even more fat.

Read the directions for that stuff.....says something like "take tablets on empty stomach prior to bedtime".

This means you can't eat anything after 8pm or so in order to have an empty stomach to take the pill, and then you go to sleep.

This is effectively tricking you into fasting for about 12 hours each day.

You lose weight.

Don't bother with the stupid pills, just starve yourself from 8pm to 8am every day for the same effect.

Or you could just actually eat decent stuff and keep up with the exercise.😉

Fausto

Yup, Fausto is correct. That's why their lame-ass advetisements always refer to it as a "system" or some such. The pills do nothing, it's the not eating for 3 hours before bedtime that helps. You might look into Hydroxycut, it raises your metabolism and is a good supplement to working out and eating healthy when you're trying to loose weight.

Something like 80% of overweight people underestimate how much they eat. To lose weight, try eating only three meals a day, no snacks or anything at all in between. Especially don't eat just whenever you're hungry. Also make sure you eat breakfast..that's very important as it kickstarts your metabolism. You will be very hungry at first when you start eating less. After a few weeks, your body will have adjusted and you won't be so hungry all the time.

Weigh yourself once a week, same day, same time, i.e. saturday mornings and shoot for 1-2 pounds of weight loss per week.

Pills and other gimmicks only work when done in conjunction with a better diet and exercise. In other words, diet and exercise are what makes you lose weight, the gimmick just keeps you entertained.

okay, lets see if y'all can help me.

I wake up at 8:00AM and drink 2 cups of water.
11:30-12:30 is my lunch hour ( rice, veggie, meat)
7:30-8:30 is my dinner time ( rice, veggie, meat, soup, and fruits as dessert)

My diet is a typical asian diet. I dont like sweet stuff like cakes, pudding, etc. I jog and basketball atleast twice a week. I am 5' 9" and weight 190lb and I believe my "ideal" weight is around 175-180. what do you think I should do now to lose weight.

is that all? how big are the portions? i think i probably eat more than that.. asian diet as well... im on the other end of the spectrum.. 5'9", 130lbs.. lately, been eating a very good breakfast of ham, scrambled eggs, toast, and a cup of joe.. used to eat lite for breakfast. ill be happy to hit 140-145lbs.. that's the lowend of ideal weight for our height... at least that's what the gnc weight gizmo said.

about the fat solutions thing, they have a alternative radio station play those ads. they call it body solutions though.. i see that kind of stuff just like those other weight loss pills.. skip them and start working out more often.. no pain no gain.. 🙂

Not eating for the few hours before you go to bed will actually help you get better sleep. Your body doesn't rest was well when its digesting. I don't eat after 8pm anyway.

edit: unless i'm wasted at 2am... and have a bad case of the drunken munchies.

The main thing I see there is that you're not eating breakfast. Try eating a protein or energy bar for breakfast if you don't have time for something you'd like more. Breakfast gets your metabolism going. Second, you should be doing some form of excercize three times a week for 30 minutes just to maintain, you should probably try 5 times a week until you loose the weight you want to loose.

If that doesn't work you should switch to eating smaller portions every 3-4 hours instead of larger meals 2-3x's a day. You'll be eating 4-6x's a day with this method but it keeps your body from thinking it's not getting enough food and converting carbs to fat.

I'm not in the best shape in the world but this advice is from my trainer, who is. 🙂

where I am at now, I am not sure eating breakfast will help as I am gaining weight with no breakfast at all. My typical portion is consider medium, about a full plate. I am hoping these solution can accelarate my weight reduction. I guess I need to do more exercise....

thanks y'all...

Not eating breakfast is BAD, it kills your metabolism. Start eating a slimfast bar or protein bar for breakfast and exercise more, that will help. Eating a light breakfast is much much better for loosing weight than eating no breakfast at all. Research it, it's counter-intuitive but a very well known fitness fact.
