Not that I care, just wondering.

In the video I posted?

The outer ring is MPH. lol.. we went through this in the other reposts of the video.

You can see that the outer ring is still in the 2 digits when the inner ring goes to 3.

The speedometer is off by a pretty significant percent at the end of its range, I think the conclusion was that he's doing around 200...

He also changed the gearing on it. There's a switch on the bike that allows the speedo to be adjusted to real, or "old" speed readings. He had it switched to the old readings (resulting in a higher speed than he was actually going). According to the speedo he'd have hit 242 mph (i didn't re-watch it, but it's max number at 10k rpm and he made it to 11k rpm so it's max number on the speedo + 10%). Really he was going 199 mph IIRC.

I got this from a previous discussion on this board about this same video. Someone from here was at another forum where someone knew the guy or something...

Ah, I always wondered how he did that since you can tell it's obviously off. Still, even with the speedo being off he still probably didn't come down off that wheelie till 80 or so iirc (I'm not downloading the video again). Crazy nonetheless.

The speedo read almost 140 when he came down off that wheelie.

Did you read the posts in your own quote? :p

Although, I agree.. he was probably doing more than 80, more like 115 if the speedo is off by ~18%...

Yes, I just re-read it and I do realize that his speedo is off. I did not do the math to calculate his approximate speed I just replayed the video and posted my observation. For him to really be doing 80 when he came down off that wheelie his speedo would have to be off by more than 40%. He was doing well over 100 I'll say that. That's crazy though.
