I just finished watching it, thanks to the glorious invention known as divx. 😀

It's definitely worth looking for and watching it, cuz the version that's going to come out in the U.S. in a month or so is going to be butchered up pretty badly. The original HK version I saw was awesome -- very funny and very action packed. It was almost like a spoof of the Matrix. Check it out, if you can. 🙂

I've seen it several times... my dad got the Video CD from somewhere in chinatown. It's pretty old now but it was pretty cool seeing it the first time 🙂 I always watch movies with that guy in.. funny stuff

Unfortunately, from what I hear, yes. It's a shame because some of the English sub-titles are so funny to read due to their mis-translation! 🙂
 
I saw it a while ago...extremely hilarious movie...I recommended it to some of my caucasian coworkers and they said they were laughing throughout the movie.

it is the most stupid movie ever
it's funny because it's stupid.
i hope that movie doesn't come to here
just more stuff people can make fun at chinese people.
talk about low quality stuff
at the end of the movie, this guy that have super leg kick the ball so hard, the spinning ball creat a F5 class tornado
and that tornado stripe all bad guy team nake, and spinning them off to somewhere else, and score the winning goal.

DO NOT GO SEE THAT MOVIE
WASTE TIME

 
whoa... no need to get so worked up... i did'nt realize it was so powerful a film that it could inspire such hatred in people.

personally i found it fricking hillarious... and if anything thought better of chinese people after the film (i'd like to personally thank hong kong for all the amazing films they've put out over the years)

it's defiantly not a movie to take sersiously... but i mean c'mon! they have "iron head" and "iron stomach" and the evil team is actaully CALLED "EVIL TEAM" how much better could it get...

a classic... definatly worth seeing if you have any apreciation for the kung fu genre at all...

what the hell, you just gave away the ending. oh well, the ending was predictable anyways.
 
whoa... work on your english before making comments please.
i've shown a lot of people that movie on my laptop and they all loved it. sure they didn't understand a lot of the obscure chinese humor that was in the movie but they still enjoyed it nevertheless. About whether or not the movie is going to be dubbed, I haven't heard. Some are saying that it's going to be like crouching tiger where they left the language intact using subtitles to translate... yet some say that the movie will be dubbed. No real sources yet...


I bought the DVD 🙂 I say watch it.

the movie is hilarious ....especially the part they sing the "iron head and the mighty steel leg" ....i can't held laughing..o yeah..the part they dance Para Para in the street is funny as hell too.. =]
 
Just saw this movie...freaking hilarious, recommend it to everyone, only thing is the one I saw is subtitled with terrible grammer and they talk so fast you miss some of what they are saying.
I prescribe to the hong kong humor, if you know any cantonese people you know it's cruel-dry humor. I love it because i'm the same way.
I think this will do very well in the states if marketed right. I may have missed it but didn't the evil team score when they knocked the shaolin goalie in the stand?
