Does Lenny's wife die?
I know she doesn't die from the attack.
But did the insulin incident really happen to Lenny and not that other guy (the faker)?
Thanks
its appears that lenny is the guy who kills his wife by injecting too much insulin into her. He made up the lie about Sammy? and his wife being murdered and repeated it to himself so many times that he believes it as fact. Everytime he figures out a peice of the puzzles he lies to himself because he realizes that he wont remember so when he goes blank he'll have another mystery to solve.
I have the DVD and I watched it once and really liked it.
I let a guy up at work here borrow it and he asked me that and
I was not sure. Maybe I will watch it again tonight whenever I get
out of here.

I think it fuzzy on purpose, but I support this theory.
25 and half days is not that long for this movie. I mean very little special effects. It was very story driven and with the right preperation it's very easy to see why it can be shot so quickly.
Most likely he did. Toward the end of the movie he is laying in bed and his wife is laying there touching his chest. He already has the tattoo that says they raped and murdered his wife.
umm.. there was nothing fuzzy, confusing, misleading or open about this movie.... everything is RIGHT there on the frickin table.. and if you still didnt get it, its all on their website
Well, I will be the voice of the minority...I thought the movie was dumb, they shot about 10 minutes of video and kept looping it. It didn't think the acting was that great either. But I am a big fan of most of the actors in that movie...oh well.
i just saw this movie the other night on DVD. I think that the audience can be pretty sure that Leonard killed his wife after losing his STM when his wife was raped.
What isn't so sure, is whether or not Leonard actually remembered giving his wife too much insulin. I suspect that he doesn't but is haunted by the fact that he might of.
He made up the story about Sammy Jeinkens and got the tatoo on his hand ( the only one visible with his clothes on BTW) so he could at least remember how his wife died, but not that he actually did it.
