Have you seen a fish flavored water treat for cats?

My parents bought some one time but their cat doesn't even like tuna (not a real cat), and I don't know really how good the stuff was. My two cats cry in agony every morning until I give them the juice runoff from my lunch can of tuna, so if there was a more efficient way to please their desires I'd like to look into it. I've not seen this stuff anywhere down here, and in fact it may not even be sold in Canada anymore.

My cat freaks out if she doesn't get her tuna-flavored Whisker Lickin' treats as soon as I get out of bed.

A cat that doesn't like tuna? I agree, must be some sort of mutant cat. ;)

I can't say I've ever seen anything like what you're describing, unfortunately. There's tons of different flavors of regular old kitty treats out there and I know they make tuna flavored ones.

You could probably make your own, just buy a can of sardines and dump the whole thing into a gallon jug of water and letting it marinate a day or so, shaking it occasionally. That'd almost certainly be cheaper than buying some special water (just think about what flavored water costs anyway)

Dude, it's not pain they're in when they're crying, it's that pain-inducing meows cats know humans cannot stand. If you've been doing the tuna-juice for more than a week or two, you're doomed.

You may try to change them over to something easily available like Pounce treats or the like, but good luck. Once any of our cats gets fixated on anything edible in the morning, it's lights out until he/she gets that exact thing, over and over and over.

And early in the morning, you'll do ANYTHING to shut that piercing meow up!!!!

But, have you considered trying to find fish-flavored bullion cubes and make your own?

I don't know about making my own stuff, just because I don't really want a rotting mix of fishy water in my fridge :Q

I've been doing this for months. One of the cats makes no noise, but just sits patiently, while the other does all the fussing. Of course, as soon as I'm moving from counter to floor with dish, both sound like they're about to die. The younger one, who fusses over it, frequently pesters me the second the alarm clock goes off (and I Liek to use the snooze button), and will generally meow around the kitchen and elsewhere until it's "tuna time".

They love the pounce treats too, and sometimes I don't have tuna. But that makes them sad.
