Have you purchased much or any online content available for the next gen consoles?

Each of the 3 next gen consoles has lots of online content for you to purchase. The PS3 has PS1 games and other smaller puzzle and strategy games. Xbox 360 of course has tons of stuff in its market place. The WII has its ever expanding line of virtual console games. Have you purchased any of these products?

Wii - a few VC games
PS3 - Calling all Cars
Xbox 360 - a half dozen or so XBLA games in addition to the XBLA Unplugged that came with my system. Also the Halo 3 map pack.

Meh, with the 360, as long as you're playing your games, you earn points to spend on stuff in the marketplace. I'd never buy points with real money. The stuff in the marketplace isn't good enough to flat out buy.

Unless you're talking games, in which case, you can just go buy them off the shelf anyway.

I've bought like 30-40 dollars of dlc for Rock Band already and a few XBLA games.

I could be wrong, I just picked mine up Playing Dead Rising, I got a couple things that gave me 100 poitns or something. whatever, Id unno

e-penis. Something to shoot for beyond just beating a game.

Some of the marketplace stuff is definitely worth the money.

I dropped $10 on High Velocity Bowling for the PS3. It's a fun little game and makes great uses of the sixaxis controller.

I'll probably grab Super Stardust given the amount of praise it's received.

There's a substantial patch coming any week now (already hit Europe), as well as an expansion sometime in the future.

there are thigns that are free. Older stuff but if you don't mind waiting you don't have to spend any money.

Even the original xbox games cost like 1200 points. The only games that are free that I've found anyway are demos.

Nothing yet, mostly because I already have a stack of unplayed PC, PS2 and PS3 games on CD and DVD.

That's also why I don't have a 360 yet. I want to play Mass Effect, but if I spend enough time catching up on other games maybe it will be announced for the PC

Xbox Originals are a rip off.

The free stuff is mostly add-on content for regular games.
