Have you played MOHAA at the higher difficulty levels?

I'm just finishing the game for the second time (first time with no cheats) and was wonderring what to expect if I was to crank up the difficulty level a notch or two. Does it just throw more bad guys at you? Does it kill you off faster when you get shot up by the enemy?

Some of the missions are damned near impossible at the easiest level of difficulty! How does one get thru at the most difficult level?

bump.....

I was wondering the same thing. I think it's got 3 levels? I played on the medium, and it was just right. I kinda figger that the hardest would blow me away. Good question.

After playing the game on medium and trying a harder level, the only real difference I could feel was the increased damage. Damage is definitely higher on the more difficult missions, so that's quite nasty once you play the Omaha landing or the sniper missions. Other than that, the AI didn't seem any smarter, nor did anything different happen. I didn't finish on hard, I just played it passed Omaha to see if there were many changes.

What Vash said.

Levels like the sniper village and siegfried forest become damned difficult on the hardest level.

Hope this hleps!

I played it the first time on the hard level. The AI seem harder and smarter in this level and the snipercity is as hard as a teenager in a whorehouse. I wish the game world was bigger though b/c i really loved this game.

I'm ready for Morrowwind!!

The game isn't too hard until after Omaha on the difficult setting. Then enemies will increase by a LOT, and there are several infinite respawn areas. Alarms become a lot more difficult to keep off. Anywhere with snipers- it's going to be really hard, even if you know where they are.

You're going to have to quicksave a lot.
