Hi All.

I bought my 5950, but i have read about heaps of people flashin theirs.

Have any of you Nvidia users, flashed yours..??

Is it easy to do??

If that is the case, i might buy a second 5900 , and flash it ??

thanks

Yeah, usually you flash a videocard upwards. Starting with a 5950U leaves you no where to upgrade.

I think videocard bios flashes are pretty stupid. I've been in the overclocking game for a long time and videocard overclocks are very rarely worth the effort. For all the time and energy and cash spent on coolers and exotic thermal paste you could just buy a better videocard. LOL

He's right. Flashing is a big risk. It's easier (and safer) to have CoolBits automatically apply the higher clock speeds at system boot.
