So I see that my local CC has The Matrix Revolutions on pre-order for $15.99, but they want $22.99 for Kill Bill Vol. 1! :|

That's because they know that Kill Bill is a title that will sell. The Matrix Revolutions on the other hand is good... for me to poop on!

$19.99 for Kill Bill at BestBuy and I have a feeling they'll put it on sale for less when it actually comes out.

I have noticed that general trend too Zim, which is kind of sad. You might want to try FYE if you have one in NYC. They used to be wicked expensive, but just within the last month, they have really come down in price. For example my friend wanted the texas chainsaw SE, and CC and BB had it for 30 bucks, whereas FYE had it for 28 with a $10 MIR, which was really strange. I really doubt that 23 dollar price though, because BB already has it for 20, and since it doesnt come out till the 13th, the price should go down to about 15 bucks.

I don't see why anyone would buy MR, that movie redefined suckage.

That's you opinion RaynorWolfcastle, and you're entitled to that, but do you really feel that "they" think KB will sell more than MR?

Not necessarily, the distributor of MR might be looking to increase demand for MR to sell more volume. Also, keep in mind that many stores offer a rebate on movies the first week they come out, at least here in Canada they do (to have better volume numbers). That is most movies have an "official" price tag of $30 but they are almost always priced cheaper for the first week or two.

That's serious rapage for Kill Bill Volume 1, considering it's pretty much just the movie, and they'll release the special edition later.

In this year's sales, not a chance. In the long run, hell yes.
