Multiple

42 processes including:

UT2K4
Rise of Nations
iTunes
Nero

just to name a few..

The thing that blows my mind, is how well everything seem to run. Very responsive and quick..

Unreal was playing beautifully @ 1680x1050

Did not bench but i would easily assume 50-60fps..

Did not exceed 1GB in memory either.

I am once again impressed with my current AXP. At 2.4 for $50 has given me impressive performance and continues too..

Coupled with the 6800 I think I can slip through another year or so before upgrading.

That would be over 2 1/2 years of solid performance.

:D

They say only Macs can multitask..

I don't even want to know what a,

FX-55
2GB
Raptor or SCSI

would be capable of.

So 42 is the number ladies and gents..

How many have you had at one time..

Anyone who says only Macs can multitask is a retard. OS X however, does multitask better than Windows. Of course, this is through personal experience from the 3 PC's I own and the two Macs I own.

I agree..

And OSX is clearly a better OS..

I can't complain for XP believe it or not. Extremely stable as a whole for me.

I am jynxd when it comes to Windows most of the time. Except when I use my AMD XP machine with Windows XP Pro, I dont have problems, even with multitasking. That machine is so stable. I hardly ever have problems with it. That machine is a WHOLE lot faster than my 1GHz Mac. Benchmarked it in Photoshop, and my AMD XP 2600+ was beating my 1GHz Mac by an average of 40 seconds!

Wow! You have 42 processes running, and that took up 100% of your CPU! Thats Awesome! :D I dont think my AMD XP would be able to do that yet! Thats a sweet computer you got there!

I'm not a big Apple desktop fan, but the Dual 2.5 is probably very tough to beat right now..

However when you compare $2999 to Basically $1000 if not less, i am extremely happy.

I think it's a tough sale..

2999 is too high for the G5, but I probably wouldnt mind buying one. I only spent about $500 on the AMD system I have. I spent $750 on the 1GHz Mac, and the AMD system walks all over it!

did

you

skip

And the only demanding program you have open is UT2004 anyway... not that impressive really.
