Just wondering which ATOT members, have and haven't had stiches before. I have, and it was bad at all. Didn't feel any pain from it, like I thought I would.

Had them in my right eyeball and right eyelid at the ripe old age of 5. It was wonderful.

WTF

Seems painfull.
Not really. What sucked was wearing an eye patch for a few months and having my vision tested all the time. But that's what I got for playing with a ball inside the house.

The mole on your neck, did the doctor have to remove the stiches or did you.

i went back in because the popped out (tore out of the skin). the doctor just pulled them out.

since the wound was open for over 24 hours she just let it stay open. wich it got infected.

Oh damn, I didn't think about my wisdom teeth. I suppose they did put stitches in there, but I was unconscious, and they dissolve, so I didn't even think of it.

Yeah, on my head and my finger.

My head: when I was 5 I was running around the house and rand into the corner (which was out of my POV) of the bar counter which was very sharp, and cut open my head, and was rushed to the hospital. As soon as we came home, my mom sawed it and put a higher, rounded bar (counter top).

My finger: I was 6, and when the tab on my tuna canned meal I brought with me to eat at school for lunch broke while I was opening, I grabbed the metal trying to open the rest, and, inevitably, it slipped, slicing my finger. :(

Ripped open my leg on a rusted muffler in the woods.

Along the same lines, anyone dislocate their shoulder?

Hit in the mouth with a baseball in little league, needed about 5 stitches. The worst part was having a fat lip while in 5th grade, holy crap was I made fun of.

Had surgury for testi. torsion.

Sucked pretty bad, they said i would be fine in 2-3days, but i was upstairs for a week, and was in the house for 2weeks. Went without pain meds bc i had reactions to them.

Seen sooooo many stitches put in because I work in an ER...

Had them put in a few times...depends on the doctor if it's a good or bad experience.

I'm with all the other people who had oral surgery. Talk about horrible.

Then there was the time I was in elementary school and I was running around on the playground. I came running around the one side of a corner of the playground equipment, and unbeknown to me, some other kid had the same idea...but from the opposite direction. We smashed into each other with our heads being the main collision point.

All he needed was a band-aid...I went over to one of the monitors and she handed me a Kleenex. I put it to my eyebrow where I was hit and it was covered in blood. The look on the monitors face was priceless when she saw it.

All I needed was 5 stitches but I still have a noticeable scar running through my eyebrow.

I've had:

5 stiches over right eye (fell off bike)
10 stiches in bridge of nose (broken nose from being hit in the face with a baseball)
14 stiches right elbow (surgery for torn post medial epicondle tendon)
24 stiches right side of righ ankle (sliced open playing indoor soccer)
and, for the grand finale.....

59 staples running from my right armpit to hip (surgery to remove weird growth from lymph node under right arm, still have 13 inch scar)
