Hi ATOTers,

I'm writing to you all because I have to do a group project for my comparative studies class about how "body modifications" affect a person's self. The topic I was given in my group is plastic surgery.

My question to you all is: Have any of you had any plastic surgery?

If you have, and would be willing to help me out, I would like to interview you about how the plastic surgery affected how you view your self, if it did at all. I would prefer to do the interview over the phone and record it, but I am also OK with e-mail interviews. It would be completely anonymous; I won't ask your name or anything about your private life. The only reason I prefer a telephone interview is that in e-mail interviews people tend not to give as full of an answer as they do by phone.

I will greatly appreciate it if any of you can help me out. If you don't want to post here that you had plastic surgery, you can e-mail me at thompson.1292 at osu dot edu.

Not me, but my ex-wife did.

I got her a $9000.00 boob job and 4 months later we were divorced!

Maybe that will help out your research. 😉
