Hey guys I don't know if you have seen this, and i did a search and it didn't turn up anay thing (surprise surprise) but check out Amazon.com today, we have launched a new program that might be useful for some of you.

Might be cool...I bought two big things and a couple smaller things from Amazon last year when they had super-hot deals so it might have been worth it...or not...I'd have to double-check my math.

Of course, don't be surprised if it gets real popular and all of Amazon's prices creep up to cover the shipping 😉
 
If one orders at least seven or eight times a year with non Super-Saver shipping, it is definitely worth it.

That is freaking awesome.

Even better is the $3.99 overnight.

SuperSaver shipping is great except it takes them WAY too long to ship things.

I'd much rather pay $79 a year & have two day all the time with cheap overnight when I want it.

do they ship out same day with a 2 day package

IE if i order something 2 day is it going to actually be 2 days not wait 3 days and use 2 day shipping

i usually use free shipping so i dont care about the shipping delay however if i am paying extra for this service i would expect to have the product in 2 days

also does this apply to amazon ministores like target / circuit city products sold through amazon.com?
 
I mentioned this to my coworker who orders a lot from them. I only order occasionally. He said it didn't sound like a great deal since he already uses the free shipping. I personally think it would only be good if you place 10+ orders each year.

its two business days i think, i ordered something just now and it said it would be delivered on monday the 7th.

The problem with free shipping is it takes FOREVER for them to actually get it on it's way - Like 5 days sometimes.

It's absolute lowest priority (to be expected), and it shows.

I agree, but to some people it doesn't necessarily matter. I still choose free shipping about half the time.

yeah, i hate the lag asscoiated with super saver thats why this is nice, plus i dont have to group my shipment items together they can all come seperatly for all i care.
 
Humm, wonder how long this will last. Amazon got hammered today, down 15%. Some say the lower than expected earnings were mainly due to marketing and free shipping cost.
 
I think it's a pretty sweet deal.

my sister and I split the cost and signed up for it. I order from amazon all the time, and almost always go with overnight or 2nd day shipping, even when free shipping is availible.

sucks that amazon stock went down, though. it reminds me of when EBay stock fell 20% because they missed their goal by a penny.

So do I .. I own a lot of EBAY stock. I was not in a good mood that day.
 
Haha, I should sign up for this and order one package of soap shipped two-day ($0.99) every day for a year.
