Sorry we don't say anything positive about ATI on this message board here. You want the Rage3d forums ;) .

I also saw the article and ATI has a GREAT chipset there. But, let's not rush. nVidia has been around chipsets for some time and nForce4 hit the market a year ago. We might just get a nForce5 by the time ATI hits the market.
We've learned that nVidia has been tight lipped about it's releases, speaking of video cards. They might have a new chipset prepared and waiting for competition to appear.
Just my $0.02

Please this was about ATI'S excellant results . Intel nvidia and others have excellant chipsets. Since ATI is rather new to chipsets I think they deserve some good wordshere

I know this belongs in the M/B section but since ROLLO seemed to think that the DFI ati M/B belonged in this section based on the argument he presented it seemed to me that this review should be here based on that same argument.

Yes harp it was locked as it should have been . It caused flaming. As many people on both sides of the fence pointed out to the OP that DFI rushed this M/B to market.
This article by AT shows that these people were correct in defending ATI against . This fanatic

LOL

We have a motherboard forum for this sort of thing.

Two wrongs don't make a right? Ask your Daddy- he'll back me up on this!

Still no X1800 Master cards though. ATI is better at promising cards than making them these days. :(
