Have you guys ever seen a case w/360mm side fan?

Well, I guess we'll need to be watching for that coming from Enermax as Maxpoint is one of their business names.

Actually it should be positive pressure unless you reverse the normal fan direction for these big fan cases. Or there is so much venting than it can't overcome it. Those are almost always used as intake fans.

Yep. Shows how little tylerdustin actually knows kthx.

Well big fans don't have to produce allot of air flow, more like low/mid air flow over a large area. Which makes less noise and cools more things at once.

fscking sweet case

fscking sweet company too: look! they have an m12-700 plastered on thier homepage. and tagan!

other info
At CeBit a case was displayed that will be distributed by Maxpoint and is manufactured by A+ in Europe. It has a 360mm fan on the vented side panel and a 220mm fan as a front intake. Expected European Relaese date is in May. If the case is available in the US expect it to be under the XClio label and look for it on Newegg. Oh, and the case is called "El Diablo".

Hmm? Hey Zepper what do you think about that?

?El Diablo?: Large exhausts instead of water cooling is the slogan with the A+ his new housing the final consumer to make tasty would like. The optics is naturally matter of taste.

The ?El Diablo? Tower housing is meant for the Gamer parliamentary group, which needs their High ending with components a high air interchange for the PC components. Since water cooling despite always rising admittingness, only grossteilig by enthusiasts are used, A+ would like to set here and offer an alternative.

Beside the 360mm exhaust in the left side panel sits a further large exhaust in the soil range of the front. Here a 250mm puts exhaust drinne. Thus everyone gets internal system component more than sufficiently to air-before and it is to ungeante reserves at the disposal.

To the noise level and speed range of the exhausts up-to-date still nothing can be said. The 250mm exhaust might lie with approx. 600rpm. Really these are however not quiet.

For the Moddingfreunde among you the A+ ?El Diablo? offers a Modding side window on as well as blue LEDs at both large exhausts.

Concerning place of assembly one should in the apron drauf respects little dusty areas to use. With these giant exhausts it is to be gotten heavily dust collectors.

Starting from May 2007 the housing for approx. 119 is to be purchasable, - ? (EUR) with max POINT. Who may risk before a view, on the CeBIT at the conditions of max POINT in 20, conditions C07 resounds.

Well I suppose Enermax has the Chakras, Phoenix and Uber Chakra with big fans - I didn't know that XClio was somehow related, but they push the big fan boxes too. I recommend their Windtunnel to anyone who needs a big box and doesn't want to have to worry about tweaking the cooling and their A380 looks very similar to the case under discussion. I can't stand the poor translations so I didn't even try it.

i had one with a 250mm
it moved a lot of air and didnt make much noise, it was nice
but a LOT of dust comes through those things, you might wanna airdust your rig once a week if you get one

Well, like any case with fans its all all about air flow dynamics. Bigger fans dont automatically equal more noise and lousy cooling. It doesnt automatically equal good airflow either. Just depends on the setup. I couldnt read the article since I dont speak German. Looking at the layout it could work I suppose. I think though with a fan like that in front it might be better to have no side fan and have one big one or a couple good back fans to run it as a flow through. Get that so called 'wind tunnel' effect. That would probably work. Maybe if you have a fan on top also instead of the side it would be more ideal?

I'd also like to point out having a 'wind tunnel' effect doesnt necessarily equal alot of noise. For some reason people think bigger means more noise which in my experience doesnt always hold true for pc fans. Big fans spin slowly and are typicallly designed to run quiet. If they are made properly. My Chakra has a 250mm fan and that thing is super quiet. Although bigger fans have a larger opening for more dust to get in though. But there are ways to limit that problem.
