Have you guys ever PORTed a number within the same cell network?

I have 2 lines and I want to have my fiance's # on my phone but we both have sprint. Do you guys have experience porting # within same network?

i dont think thats called porting...haha...thats just switching phones....go to a sprint store and have them change it.

I don't think that would be considered porting but some sort of account transfering.

Porting is moving the phone number between carriers.

Are you asking to have her number under your contract.
If so, when her contract is up, you can then have Sprint assign her number to your plan.

Doing it before her contract is up will result in an early termination on her contract

I think you're talking about doing an ESN swap...getting calls to her number on your device, and vice versa. If you call up customer support they can do that for free if both devices are active.
