It looks really really good from the SS's on gamespot. Better graphics then the first one. Unfortunatly, getting it will be hard, fileplanet has three mirrors, and gigex is the only other offical mirror. Currently, I'm waiting in line on gigex for it, probably going to wait at fileplanet as well.

Got the demo, played some, definitely Serious fun. The first one was quite cool and this one is enjoyable as well. I say this is the best game for a LAN party.

It's a blast in multiplayer. The graphics are gorgeous too. The only slowdown I saw (and this was playing a co-op game, so it could have been lag easily) was on one of the levels where there was grass.

Haven't even touched the single player yet. RtCW is taking *all* of my single player time

Seems like a fun game so far and it's fast unlike some of the other FPS games that have come out recently. Does anyone know of a website that has command line options? Otherwise, how do you check your FPS? How can you enable AA using a GeForce3?

For FPS hit your ~key to bring down the console then type /hud_istats=1

As far as the demo goes, in single player it's pretty boring for me just shooting at guys running straight at you. It was fun for a while, but then it became extremely boring.



The Multiplayer was that absolute worst thing i've ever played, it's basically a light speed, no-skill, get the biggest weapon and spam it in popular areas, brainless fragfest. It sucked hard.

Downloaded the demo yesterday, played it co-op over LAN and I had a blast! This game is what games should be : Sheer fun!
I haven't picked up the First Encounter yet, because I haven't found it for a low price yet. Anyway, this game is so cool I think I need to pick up both games

I have the demo, like it, much like the first version. I found a flaw or trick? unsure when your in the room with all the sleeping red scoripons. if you go behind the torch block on the right side against the wall by (behind) the inv suit they can't get ya. now I found the secret ammo in the begining (the black time bomb thing) but how do you use it?????????

i also notice when you get to the grenade launcher. you must hit the 5 key to get it back twice if you switch to sometime else first. the 5 key is for both the rocket and grenade launcher

I love the Duke, but that was totally called for.

Someone with good bandwidth, set up an AT co-op server. And I agree, the light-speed deathmatch sucks ass.

I love it so far, it's just as enjoyable as the first one!

Though right now, I'm stuck at the part where you have to run up the temple and get that thingy, where there are approximately 200 of those skeleton bull/horse thingies, 10 of the giant blue mech/dinosaurs, 4 or 5 of those huge red guys, 20 of those chainsaw guys, and an ungodly amount of the headless guys. Anyone have any tips for getting through this part? I run out of rockets and grenades just killing half of the skeletons, and then the red doods come up and blast me to pieces, or while I'm dodging their rockets, some headless kamikazes decide to shank me from the side.
