Have you guys checked out the new link gun feature in UT2004?

2004 has some really cool stuff. I just found out yesterday, if you have the link gun and fire it at your team mate with another link gun that is already firing at an enemy, you will both be connected by the link stream and I think it doubles the power of the first guy shooting the link gun. Basically, you can take down an enemy twice as fast. I'd like to get like three people connecting a stream and see how fast it takes to kill your opponent. Must go do more testing...Can't wait for the final version.

yeah um... that was in UT2K3... hence the name "Link" gun

Hey can someone tell what exactly is going on in that game? I was playing Multiplayer on the AT server. It was so confusing, linking stations, power core, cannot attack unlinked station, etc.

that was in 2k3 dude....but the link gun is even more important now because of its "fixing" ability

onslaught...

you ahve to take over the power nodes..each serving as a base...if you look @ the maps, each node is connected to another node...if a node that is owned by your team is connected to an emty or enemy node, you can go ahead and destroy that power node....

the main objective is to get the powernode that's adjacent to their main base and destroy their generator thing...
