One morning when i was around 15, i got up, and was gonna take a shower.

When i touched the tap, it turned out it was all wired with 220 volts. Was quite a shock, standing nude. I didn't manage to turn on the water tough.
Then i might've been electrocuted.

All i know is i was bummed for not getting to shower. I have no idea what happened, but it never happened again.

In most homes, there are 3 wires: 2 of them are "hot" @110 volts each, the 3rd is the ground wire. Your tap could *not* have been wired with 220 volts. Only with 110 volts.

You're both wrong. Denmark uses 230v standard with type K plugs. Therefore it could only have been 230v.source

I once bumped my head on an attic lightbulb and broke it while it was on. It had a pull-cord switch, so to check to see if it was off before trying to extract the bulb I swung a maglight at it. It arced to the maglight. So that was how I gained my superpowers initially, being able to read other people's thoughts, psychically sense where other people are geographically etc.

Old house with unlabeled circuits + me with new outlets. Zap zap zap swear swear swear.

Most exciting 'oops with electricity' moment was when my brother dropped a wrench and it shorted across the terminals of his car's battery. Took a chunk the size of a BB out of a Craftsman 10mm wrench.

I have been shocked a few times in the past, when plugging or unplugging stuff from an electrical outlet. Luckly those shocks didn't lasted long.

Got zapped in the tongue while cutting speaker wire with my mouth. For some odd reason it felt like house electricity was going through it. I must have jumped back almost 10 feet when it happenned and had a nice little burn on my tongue for a while...

I live in denmark, we have 220 volts in our system.

I got zapped by lightning once.

I was working grounds and a storm was arriving. It was starting to rain so we packed it in. I was closing a metal gate in a chain link fence when lighting flashed nearby. Somehow current traveled through the fence and shocked me.
Nothing major but my legs folded.

I hit a frayed power cord with my foot while reading a book on my bed. (was to my lamp and my feet were off the edge) My foot has been screwed up ever since (skin dies quickly and my toe nails are seriously screwed up). I was 8 or 9 at the time and I'm 21 now.
