i did that before when i was in college...you'd be surprised how nasty it gets under there!
 
Go for it! You speak for all of us with your inventivness!

After you pop the keys from the keyboard, take apart your motherboard (the big board looking thing INSIDE the computar). Make sure you remove AND open up all the little black, package looking thingees with the silver legs sticking out of the sides.

Those are called "ICs." That's short for Internet Connector. Open them ALL up and find The Internet!

What...Whoa...you mean I was suppose to take the keyboard apart before the big thing that sounds all windy sitting next to me. Its about as big as a bread box and there are some square/rectangle things that look like they might somehow being encouraged to open.

I pulled the stupid things off that CD's go in and I took the cover off the side. When I touched the metal shiny bright things wiht the screwdriver, they made loud pops with little whisps of smoke.

I assume since I still hear fans spinning its okay. My 2005 FPW went all ghooky for a minute or two....whoops, there it went again

What do I do now????
