I worked at a TV station when I was in College. The station engineer told me that one time, when he was doing maintenance on the transmitter, he saw a weird thing happen to some birds. It seems that after he turned the transmitter back on, the birds that were perched on the coax line to the tower flew away, but their feet stayed stuck to the coax line.

No, but I've seen people drop dead for no reason while driving on the highway. Turns out, the radiation from the cell phone killed them.

There was a duck down at the community pool once. My dad threw a kickboard at him and he tried to fly too fast, ran into a tree, and did a backwords summersault.

Seriously though, that duck was delicous!

lol, once we had a dove fly *into* the house

it went crazy and was going all over the place. eventually it plowed into a large mirror over the mantle. damn those birds are stupid.

Had a sheep fly into our house once (well....actually it wasnt flying at the time, it was running like a bat out of hell) right through a plate glass sliding door god what a mess. Ran through the living room and back through the kitchen and out the door. Never saw it again. What the hell a sheep was doing in that part of town I'll never know. Must have been taking a vacation from the country or something.

I once saw I guy land head first after falling from the sky, he got entangle in his parachute and plumeted to his death, he was buried up to his shoulders when people arrived to help, when they pulled him out he had no head, it was the worst thing i have ever seen

My most exciting bird moment was watching Bob the turkey escape from the mooseyard at the Milwaukee County Zoo.

His wings were supposed to be sufficiently clipped so that he wouldn't be able to fly up the 10 foot concrete wall and over the metal railing to get out.... but he did.

He was being chased by a male peacock.

Once he flew out of the mooseyard, they continued to fight each other.

A coworker of mine grabbed Bob and threw him back into the mooseyard.

The following morning Bob was no longer in the Mooseyard... so he must have flown out again during the night and escaped from captivity.

More exciting was the time one of the kangaroos escaped... but that's another story 🙂

No, but I sure hoped that it falls off the sky so I can strangle that little fvcker after it took a dump on me while I was biking :|

Yes it happened all the time at a high power microwave repeater. When birds flew near the point of collimation they were killed instantly.

We used to regularly send 60W of 532 straight up in the air on humid summer nights. The beam would attract mosquitoes and they would be instantly become devoid of all water and fall to the ground near the mirrors. After a few minutes there would be a considerable pile of bugs. The world's most expensive bug whacker!

i had one fly into the windshield of my moms car several years ago when i was going to work...i was running about 90mph too...didnt break or crack the windshield, amazingly...left a hell of a sh1tstain though 😉
