Well there was this one time in Cincinnati when I almost got hit by a live turkey, well I presume it was alive before it hit the ground.

A bird flew into my living room window once, does that count? 😛
lol, once we had a dove fly *into* the house

it went crazy and was going all over the place. eventually it plowed into a large mirror over the mantle. damn those birds are stupid.

Figured I'd join the OT fun. Been a member for quite some time and never really ventured in to the OT forum. I think I found a new home.......but for real, driving down a rural road, saw a bird fall out of the sky onto the guy in front of me's windsheild. Rather amusing.

I have thrown rocks at hunting bats and made them swoop lower and lower until they actually run into the ground.

That my friend is one of the funniest things I have ever heard......

I have never tried this one, but someone told me that if you turn a sock inside out so that it's all fuzzy on the outside, and put some rocks in it, you can lob it near a bat, which will swoop on it and get its stuff stuck in the fuzz, then you can just walk up and pick up the sock+bat off the ground. This is unconfirmed, but seems like it ought to work.

Hmm, I was at this diner in washington when suddenly the power went out for a moment. About 30 seconds later, we watched a seagull come sailing straight down into the middle of the road abruptly.

Apparrently it had landed on one of the transformers and been launced up in the air due to the shock.

The owner of the diner didn't run out, scoop it up, and sneak it in the back way did he?
