  • Prophecy!
  • Donald Trump!

The Bible That Oozed Oil
A small Georgia town, a prophecy about Donald Trump, and the story of how a miracle fell apart.

In the summer of 2016, God gave Johnny Taylor a prophecy. It wasn’t a specific vision, but something more like a promise. After the presidential election that fall, so the prophecy went, God would begin to “position” Johnny and his group of friends to do great things. Months later, when Donald Trump won—no surprise to Johnny—God provided another message: After the inauguration, he said, “I’ll show you what I’m doing.”

It's nice to pretend that these folks are normal right wingers, we can feel superior and a little empowered.
On Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, these are normal right wingers. The ones the rest of us see every day, constantly ranting and outraged and paranoid about everything that isn't them. And that Trump and the mainstream conservative media say the same conspiracy theory BS is strong evidence for their normal right wing status.

It's just an extreme example. The fact that they believe in Trump means they're disconnected from reality in no small way. Just the way it is, sad to say.

Compared to convincing not-wealthy folks that debt funded tax breaks for billionaires which the not-wealthy folks pay for are a good thing, chemtrails are an easy sell.

Listen to Trumps rallies ... the utterly BS, falsehoods and conspiracy shit ... and they eat it all up. So you are saying people who attend Trump rallies are not normal right wingers?

Coronavirus, to me is like a Darwin Award, it mostly affects the elderly, of which a majority voted for the most incompetent president and who are most likely to be against universal health care.

It’s almost as if the problem will fix itself.

And what of the minority who didn't vote for him? Collateral damage; so sorry you had to die?

It sucks, doesn’t it? That our fellow Americans can be so selfish and caught up in their team sport that they are willing to screw over millions of Americans.

Sometimes though you have to lose the battle in order to win the war and in war death is an inevitability.
