Have you ever watched a hardcore AT ferengi play Monopoly with two ten year olds?

They're vocal about their gains/losses and he's merciless... I'm wondering at what point I ought to step in. 😉

[edit]

What's worse, he doesn't know the rules and since they both like him, they're letting him do anything that benefits him.

ferengi is linuxboy, the ten year olds are my little sisters. They're telling him stuff like, "oh, you can just keep taking cards and if you answer the questions right, you get more properties." (e.g. one property for each correct question, which isn't what the rules say.)

LOL!!

I SO had a hotel empire by the time we finished...

But I had a cash flow problem because, as chance and the roll of dice would have it, my competition kept landing on the wrong properties and I couldn't bribe the appraiser to up the FMV of my properties to take a high loan and continue investments. The bank was most uncooperative and wouldn't go for balloon payments of a negative amortization ARM, or even a HELOC.

It was rough I tell ya. I couldn't even creatively use credit and the competition kept overpaying for properties I wanted, leaving little room for creative profiteering.

Cheers ! 🙂

sounds like you need an uhh... adult version of monopoly

Perhaps liking Linuxboy is a genetic predisposition for the females in your family. 😛

And since when are there questions to answer in Monopoly?? *is, as usual, confused*

All is fair in love and Monopoly. Until you say that you get something for landing on free parking. Then you deserve to die.

What the hell kind of monopoly are you playing where you need to ask questions to get properties? 😕

You don't have to ask questions, but they're like the chance cards. It's the special American edition of Monopoly. Plus, remember, the ten year olds were making up the rules as they went.

Teaching the wee ones the way of the Ferengi. They will oon be readyto enter the world of not paying retail.

Which reminds me, does Linuxboy print his own monopoly coupons? 1/2 off on yellow titled properties today only! Must call and talk with a CSR and have them pricematch to Illinois Ave.
