Have you ever used the voice capabilities of your modem?

Most of internal modems available on the market have "voice" capabilities. I must confess that I never used it. Actually, I have no idea how to use it and never saw a software to enable/use this features and never heard about someone who had used it.

I don't know whether I am asking is idiot, but... how to use these voice modem capabilities?

I used to use them. I had winfax pro set up for a while and it came with a program called talkworks. It was like a phone/answering machine. I also used it with my netcam to video conference with my wife when she went on a trip. That is all I have ever used it for. Been a while though.

MoFunk, do you mean the modem connectors for voice capabilities, located on the back of the modem, or by taking the voice signal using the soundcard mic in?

Many people think that when they use a software to communicate with the net (like netmeeting) through the soundcard mic in, they are using voice capabilities of the modem. Absolutelly no! Any modem can be used for this task. I refer to that connectors on the back of the modem.
