Smart couples talk about it beforehand, and then the actual proposal is a surprise, minimizing the chance for rejection.

Well hey, at least he had a giant.....giant mouse mascot? Whatever the hell that thing was supposed to be, at least he got a pat on the back from him, and I think I saw a cheerleader touch his arm as he walked out. Maybe he should ask her instead.

Got married last week and haven't even proposed yet. She says she better get the whole on the knee thing before the big ceremony with family and such though, but legally, I'm married.

Nope, but I turned down a re-marriage proposal.

The announcers were dumbfounded for the most part about that. The commentary kept going, but they were all "In 20 plus years I've never seen THAT happen... *laugh*".

I liked the part when they said "Well I guess you really CAN'T say no in a situation like this..." and then she starts to walk away.

Damn her boobs are huge.

She got jealous because he actually proposed to her boobs...;)
Or else it wasn't a ring. Maybe it was actually some kind of threat.;)

"Baby, I cut off your chihuahua's ear. Here it is. I'm tired of listening to that pathetic rat's yipping. If you want that thing alive, you are going to walk out of here right now and pick it up from the apartment, and take it somewhere safe. You got it?"

or have you asked and been turned down?

Yep. After dating my current wife for @ a year, I asked and she said, "Sorry, try again later".

Dated for another year before I asked again.
