Have you ever taken pictures in a furniture store?

Like say you were out shopping for things to put in your new house, have you ever taken your camera in a store and shot pictures of what you liked? To me it sounds like a good idea but then again I don't how the store would feel about it. They might think I'm casing the joint. Any input would be great.

actually... we went furnature shopping a few weeks ago and used our camera phone to take some photos

lol, thats retarded.. who cares if you are taking pics of furniture.. if your doing closeups it would be pretty frickin obvious what you are doing.

That being said, I dont think I'd ever do it. I just really dont care that much about looks of an apartment. I take free furniture. I think I've bought 2 desks and thats it.. ever.

Nothing wrong with that. It's easier to remember what you looked at after a whole day of furniture shopping. After the 3rd store, you can start losing track of what you saw and where.

we took pictures in several stores...no one seemed to mind....the sales guy even moved some plants out of the way so we could get a better shot...
